Manufacturing Deburr Supervisor

Job Summary

The Deburr Supervisors main objective is review, assign, monitor and complete the work required to meet the companies' goals and objectives. The supervisor must keep the employees trained, motivated, give clear direction and stress the importance of operating as a team. The Deburr Supervisor monitors performance, coordinates workflow with other departments and ensures the department operates in a cost effective manner. Supervisors can be asked to work extended hours when required that may include evenings and/or weekends.

Essential Functions

· Interpret blueprints and recognize deburring needs to determine a process for a part. Utilize measuring devices.

· Direct and coordinate employees to complete tasks most necessary to the company’s priorities.

· Train Deburr employees in company policies, safety, job functions, proper equipment usage and all other tasks necessary to do their job.

· Monitor employee productivity and quality of work.

· Complete traveler paperwork and splits for jobs completed in department.

· All employees of department’s annual reviews.

· Other projects and responsibilities may be added at the company’s discretion.

Job Requirements and Qualifications

· Background in manufacturing and supervision.

· Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with other employees.

· Attention to detail very critical.

· Work with a flexible schedule and demonstrate effective time management.

· Able to lift up to 50 lbs.
