Manufacturing Engineer

Our client in Marlboro, MA is looking to bring on an Manufacturing Engineer. This is a direct hire opportunity.

Responsibilities:

• Design, build, and test electro-mechanical systems and components
• Create and interpret mechanical and electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, work instructions, and test procedures
• Perform mechanical design work using SolidWorks (models, assemblies, drawings)
• Support troubleshooting, diagnostics, and repair of automation systems and production equipment
• Collaborate with team members on the design and implementation of new automation systems
• Source and coordinate with suppliers for electrical and mechanical components
• Lead or support root cause analysis and corrective action for equipment issues
• Drive continuous improvement across automation, tooling, and controls
• Maintain and upgrade existing systems to improve performance, usability, and reliability

Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Electro-Mechanical, Mechatronics, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering
• 5+ years of hands-on experience in electro-mechanical system design and support
• Proficient in SolidWorks or equivalent 3D CAD software
• Familiarity with PLC programming and troubleshooting (ladder logic, HMI interfaces)
• Understanding of motors, drives, sensors, motion control systems
