Our client is seeking an experienced Manufacturing Engineering Manager to lead a team of 5–6 engineers within a fast-paced printing and packaging 24x7 environment.
In this role you'll create and drive process improvements, optimizing manufacturing performance, and leading cross-functional initiatives to support production efficiency, quality, and cost objectives.
Key Responsibilities:

Lead, mentor, and develop a team of 5–6 Manufacturing Engineers

Drive continuous improvement initiatives using Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies

Partner cross-functionally with Operations, Quality, Maintenance, and Supply Chain to improve overall plant performance

Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency, reduce waste, and improve product quality

Oversee equipment validation, process development, and production readiness for new and existing products

Manage capital projects, including equipment upgrades and new technology implementation

Establish and track KPIs related to productivity, scrap reduction, and process capability

Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards
Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Industrial, Manufacturing, or related field required)

8+ years of manufacturing engineering experience, preferably within the printing, packaging, or related industry

4+ years of leadership experience managing engineering teams

Strong cross-functional experience working with multiple departments in a manufacturing setting

Proven track record of implementing process improvements and driving operational excellence

Lean Six Sigma certification (Green Belt or Black Belt preferred)

Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills

Background in printing, packaging, or high-speed production environments

Experience with automation, process optimization, and continuous improvement initiatives

Familiarity with ERP systems and data-driven decision making
