Manufacturing Maintenance Technician

Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and skilled Manufacturing Maintenance Technician to join our innovative production team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing manufacturing equipment to ensure optimal operational efficiency. Your expertise will help keep our manufacturing facility running smoothly, minimizing downtime and maximizing productivity. Duties

  • Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on manufacturing machinery and equipment, including hydraulics, HVAC systems, and electrical components.
  • Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems using schematics, technical manuals, and diagnostic tools such as ammeters, ohmmeters, and precision measuring instruments.
  • Utilize Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) to diagnose issues and implement control system repairs or adjustments.
  • Operate equipment such as scissor lifts for maintenance access and conduct repairs on low voltage and high voltage systems safely following industry standards.
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities using Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) to track work orders, parts inventory, and equipment history.
  • Collaborate with production teams to minimize downtime by providing timely field service support and technical assistance.
  • Assist with welding tasks including <LOCATION> welding techniques when necessary for equipment repair or fabrication projects.
  • Follow safety protocols diligently, including lockout/tagout procedures and proper handling of electrical systems in accordance with industrial electrician standards.
  • Support the installation of new machinery and upgrades by interpreting schematics and technical drawings.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives by analyzing failure patterns and recommending process enhancements.

Qualifications

  • Work well with a team get to work on time by reliable means follow directions
  • Handle physical workload including lifting 50 pounds independently
  • Excellent mechanical aptitude
  • Basic electrical knowledge
  • Knowledge in reading and interpreting schematics and blueprints
  • Experience working in an industrial metal manufacturing
  • Physical strength to operate machinery
  • Excellent dexterity and hand-eye coordination
  • Diligence and attention to detail
  • A strong commitment to safety.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills.

Pay: $26.00 - $30.00 per hour

Experience:

  • troubleshooting : 3 years (Preferred)
  • Electrical troubleshooting: 3 years (Preferred)
  • Machine Maintenance:: 3 years (Preferred)
  • Blueprint / schematic reading: 2 years (Preferred)
