Manufacturing Plant Manager

Overview

Lead the Saudi Arabia Global Supply Chain Plant, including the industrialization, manufacturing, supply chain, facility, methods and health and safety. Responsible for the application and management of standardized manufacturing/production methods. Strong involvement in continuous improvement.

Responsibilities
  • Lead the Saudi Arabia Global Supply Chain Plant, including the industrialization, manufacturing, supply chain, facility, methods and health and safety.
  • Responsible for the application and management of standardized manufacturing/production methods.
  • Strong involvement in continuous improvement.
  • Lead the performance of the manufacturing sector through hierarchical animation of teams.
  • Align resources with needs within short- and mid-term horizons; elaborate training plans where necessary for successful execution of standardized work, lead short-interval management at sector level, and escalate issues where necessary.
  • Strong contributor to continuous improvement.
  • Enforce compliance with HSE and 5S rules throughout the sector, including reporting and managing incidents and near misses.
  • Enforce compliance with quality systems and proper application of defined processes and procedures to meet the required quality level.
  • Participate in load/resource balancing with the manufacturing manager; ensure achievement of production schedules in accordance with cost, quality, and lead time objectives.
  • Lead the SIM loop 2 with appropriate indicators and action plan; ensure compliance with SPS of SIM 1.
  • Adjust manufacturing programs according to customer priorities in ad-hoc systems (LDS, DISS, IQ, etc.).
  • Organize training needs of teams and manage versatility according to defined targets.
  • Spend 30-50% of time on the shop floor, depending on the number of digital tools available (safety walk-by, tracking, barriers removal, etc.).
  • Contribute to industrial process improvements with function supports.
  • Participate in investment proposals, transverse projects, and action plans at the plant level.
  • Electrical engineer with 10+ years of experience in manufacturing or supply chain.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
  • Leadership experience.
