About the Role:

Manufacturing Specialists are a vital part of our collaborative team focused on fabricating swimming pool covers and operational mechanisms. Responsibilities include measuring and cutting vinyl sheet material, heat welding panels, assisting with sewing, adding attachments per customer specifications, assembling cover track mechanisms, and performing quality checks before packing covers for shipment.

Additional tasks involve assisting with inventory and handling materials using pallet jacks and forklifts (after authorization).

This role requires significant physical strength to lift, pull, and push heavy materials (60-100 lbs.) regularly, as handling these materials is critical to daily operations. We seek candidates eager to learn multiple tasks, demonstrate flexibility, and contribute to a team-oriented work system.

Key Skills and Qualifications:

• Mathematical and Measurement Proficiency: Strong ability in basic mathematics and measuring, essential for accurately cutting and assembling materials to meet precise specifications.
• Manufacturing Experience: Prior experience in a manufacturing environment, ensuring familiarity with production processes and workplace safety standards.
• Multitasking and Attention to Detail: Capability to manage multiple projects and tasks simultaneously while maintaining high attention to detail and ensuring product quality.
• Teamwork and Communication: Excellent teamwork and communication skills, fostering effective collaboration within a team-oriented work system.
• Physical Strength for Heavy Lifting: Strong physical capability to lift, pull, and push heavy materials (60-100 lbs.) regularly, as this is a critical requirement for daily tasks involving material handling.

Preferred Additional Skills

• Specialized Manufacturing Skills: Experience in heat-seal welding, kit-building, and fabricating, enhancing efficiency in producing swimming pool covers.
• Sewing Proficiency: Proficiency with sewing machines and sewing, particularly in an industrial setting, to support the assembly of high-quality pool covers.

Compensation

• Hourly Starting Rate: $16 per hour
• Actual compensation will be based on experience and job-related skills.
• Performance-Based Increases: New team members receive regular performance check-ins during their first 90 days. These evaluations are designed to support your development and frequently result in pay increases, with the potential to increase your hourly rate by nearly 10% within the first 90 days based on performance.
