Regal Research & Mfg. Co. is a high-tech contract manufacturer focused on precision, accountability, and advanced manufacturing. We are seeking an experienced Manufacturing Supervisor to lead our weekend shift operations.
This role works three 12-hour shifts on the weekend and is paid as a full 40-hour work week. The Weekend Shift Supervisor plays a critical role in maintaining production, safety, quality, and standards when weekday leadership and support resources are limited. This position requires strong decision making, independence, and clear communication.
What You’ll Do
- Supervise and support production teams across manufacturing and fabrication operations on the weekend shift
- Ensure safety, quality, and productivity standards are consistently met
- Coordinate staffing, job priorities, and workflow to meet production schedules
- Troubleshoot equipment, quality, and process issues and take corrective action
- Verify setups, first-piece quality, and in-process inspections
- Enforce standard work, shop procedures, and housekeeping expectations
- Communicate shift performance, issues, and handoffs to weekday leadership
- Coach, train, and hold team members accountable
- Support continuous improvement, safety initiatives, and process standardization

What We’re Looking For
- Previous supervisory or lead experience in a manufacturing environment
- Strong mechanical aptitude and understanding of shop floor operations
- Ability to read drawings, work instructions, and production schedules
- Comfortable making decisions and leading independently
- Strong communication, coaching, and accountability skills
- Working knowledge of quality systems, inspection methods, and production controls
- Basic computer skills including Microsoft Office and production reporting systems
- Ability to be present on the shop floor and lift up to 50 pounds as needed
Nice to Have, Not Required
- Experience with fabrication, CNC, welding, or machining operations
- Exposure to lean manufacturing, continuous improvement, or 5S
- Experience leading teams during off shifts or weekends
Schedule and Pay Details
- Weekend shift: three 12-hour shifts
