Manufacturing Technician

Responsibilities

• Operate manufacturing equipment and machinery with adherence to safety protocols and standard operating procedures.
• Perform assembly, packaging, and materials handling tasks efficiently while maintaining quality standards.
• Conduct routine inspections of products and components to ensure compliance with specifications.
• Assist in laboratory testing and documentation to support quality control processes.
• Utilize forklift trucks and other warehouse equipment safely for loading, unloading, and moving materials within the facility.
• Support lean manufacturing initiatives by identifying waste reduction opportunities and suggesting process improvements.
• Maintain accurate records of production activities, inventory movements, and quality checks in accordance with CGMP (Current Good Manufacturing Practice) guidelines.

Skills

• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, including machining, packaging, and materials handling.
• Experience working in a laboratory environment or supporting quality control activities.
• Proficiency with forklift operation and warehouse experience for efficient logistics management.
• Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles to promote continuous improvement.
• Familiarity with CGMP standards to ensure compliance in regulated environments.
• Ability to troubleshoot equipment issues quickly and effectively.
• Excellent attention to detail combined with strong organizational skills for managing multiple tasks efficiently.
