Manufacturing VP Controller

Our client is a profitable and well-established $15m - $20m growing global manufacturing company based in Tampa Bay. They are seeking a VP, Controller with a strong background in cost/inventory accounting and manufacturing operations to assist them in the continued growth of their business. Responsibilities of this role include:

• Manage and oversee day to day accounting, financial reporting, taxes, and cash management
• Preparation of monthly financial package (financial statements, financial analysis/forecast, financial/operational KPI’s) for senior leadership and private equity
• Liaison with external CPA firm for annual financial audit and special projects
• Lead the annual budget plan process and responsible for monthly rollforward analytics
• Design and implement detailed cost analysis for all areas of manufacturing
• Provide analysis for capital investments, product pricing and contract negotiations.
• Oversee payroll/benefits
• Maintain bank relationships, related debt covenants, and risk management/insurance

Position will report directly to the Chief Executive Officer

Required Skills & Experience:

- 10+ years accounting/finance , including 3+ years in a manufacturing environment

- Prefer experience working with private equity

- Bachelor’s in Accounting (CPA preferred)

- MBA is preferred

- Strong ERP and Excel skills
