Job Description
This is a remote position.
We are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Marathi Online Instructor to teach students of various age groups through live virtual classes. The ideal candidate should have excellent command of the Marathi language, strong teaching skills, and the ability to engage learners effectively in an online environment.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct live online Marathi classes as per the curriculum.
Teach reading, writing, speaking, grammar, vocabulary, and pronunciation.
Use digital tools to explain concepts clearly and interactively.
Prepare lesson plans, worksheets, and practice exercises.
Assess learner progress and provide regular feedback.
Maintain learner discipline and ensure an engaging class environment.
Communicate professionally with parents/students and submit class reports on time.
Requirements
Core Skills
- Excellent command of Marathi (spoken, written, and grammar).
- Clear pronunciation and ability to teach phonetics if required.
- Ability to simplify concepts for beginners and young learners.
- Strong communication and classroom management skills.
- Patience, creativity, and learner-friendly teaching approach.
Teaching & Digital Skills
- Experience in online teaching (preferred but not mandatory).
- Ability to use digital teaching tools like slides, PDFs, videos, etc.
- Comfortable teaching through structured lessons and activities.
Educational Qualification
- Bachelor’s degree in Marathi / Literature / Languages OR,
- Bachelor’s in Education (B.Ed) OR,
- Any relevant degree with strong Marathi language proficiency
(Higher qualifications like M.A. in Marathi are an advantage.)
Technical Requirements
- Stable high-speed internet connection and a quiet, professional home studio setup.
- Good-quality microphone/headset and webcam for clear audio and video.
- Familiarity with Zoom and other online teaching platforms.
- Ability to use virtual whiteboards, annotations, screen sharing, and digital teaching aids effectively.
