Marathi Teacher

Job Purpose:

To plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and effective Marathi language lessons that enhance students’ reading, writing, speaking, and comprehension skills while promoting cultural appreciation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Teach Marathi language to students as per the school curriculum and academic standards.
• Prepare lesson plans, teaching aids, and assessments to ensure effective learning.
• Foster an environment that encourages active participation, creativity, and critical thinking.
• Assess and monitor students’ progress through classwork, homework, and examinations.
• Provide individual support to students to improve their language proficiency.
• Maintain classroom discipline and ensure a positive learning atmosphere.
• Collaborate with other teachers and staff for curriculum planning and co-curricular activities.
• Organize cultural events, competitions, and activities related to Marathi language and literature.
• Maintain accurate records of students’ performance and provide timely feedback to parents.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Marathi / Languages / Literature or equivalent.
• B.Ed
• Prior teaching experience in Marathi language (school-level experience preferred).
• Strong command over written and spoken Marathi.
• Excellent communication, classroom management, and interpersonal skills.
• Passion for teaching and ability to motivate students.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹10,590.85 - ₹25,000.00 per month
