Marble Draftsman (AutoCAD / Stone Specialist)

Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Marble Draftsman minimum 5-8 years of experience in Marble field, ready to join our growing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for transforming architectural concepts and 3D designs into precise, production-ready shop drawings, cutting lists, and installation layouts for natural stone, marble, and granite. This role bridges the gap between our design department, workshop fabrication, and on-site installation teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Shop Drawings: Prepare detailed 2D and 3D architectural shop drawings, flooring layouts, wall cladding details, and bespoke water-jet patterns using AutoCAD.
• Cutting Lists & Tags: Generate highly accurate factory cutting lists, fabrication tag numbers, and material take-offs to minimize natural stone waste.
• Site Coordination: Review architectural/interior design drawings, identify structural clashes, and update as-built drawings based on on-site physical measurements. Material Book-Matching: Coordinate veining and pattern alignments (dry-lay templates) for high-end marble installations.
• Technical Support: Provide technical clarifications and structural detail drawings to stone fixers, installers, and the workshop factory manager.

Required Qualifications & Experience

• Education: Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Architectural Drafting, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related technical field.
• Experience: Minimum of 3 to 5 years of dedicated experience as a Draftsman specializing specifically in marble, granite, natural stone, or interior luxury fit-outs.
• Software Proficiency: Expert-level knowledge of AutoCAD (2D/3D). Familiarity with Revit (BIM), Rhino, or SolidWorks is a strong advantage.
• Industry Knowledge: Deep understanding of natural stone characteristics, standard marble fabrication workflows, joints, anchoring systems, and stone installation techniques.
• Attention to Detail: Excellent mathematical, spatial alignment, and measurement-verification skills.
