Job Summary

Duties

  • Operate commercial trucks including flatbeds, dump trucks, roll-off trucks, and various construction equipment.
  • CDL drivers are to drive route-specific deliveries while adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations.
  • Assist with marine construction tasks such as site preparation, material placement, and equipment setup.
  • Conduct pre-trip inspections of vehicles and trailers to ensure safety and compliance with Department of Transportation (DOT) standards.
  • Support the team in maintaining a clean and organized work environment on-site and in vehicles.

CDL Skills

  • Proven experience driving various truck types including flatbed, dump truck, or roll-off truck.
  • Strong knowledge of manual transmission operation and commercial driving regulations.
  • Ability to load & unload freight efficiently using forklifts or manual methods.
  • Familiarity with route driving, delivery procedures, and safety protocols for heavy-duty trucks.
  • Experience with truck driving certifications such as CDL Class A or B preferred.
  • Competence in operating additional equipment like forklifts or skid steers is a plus.
  • Excellent physical stamina for manual labor tasks involved in marine construction projects.
