Marine Diesel Mechanic

Have the skills to keep marine engines running efficiently, safely, and reliably at sea? We’re hiring experienced Marine Diesel Mechanics to inspect, diagnose, repair, and maintain diesel engines and mechanical systems for global employers. If you have strong expertise in engine overhauls, fault diagnosis, hydraulic systems, and preventive maintenance, this role offers the opportunity to take your trade overseas and work in environments where precision, safety, and technical skill matter.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Must have 5 years minimum experience Diesel Motor Mechanic specializing in marine works
• Must have solid experience with diesel engines, plant and machinery repairs
• Maintain, repair, and overhaul diesel engines and marine systems across the fleet.
• Diagnose faults using diagnostic tools, manuals, and technical drawings.
• Perform routine and preventative maintenance on mechanical, hydraulic, electrical (including 12V), and bilge systems.
• Operate and maintain diesel generators and onboard power systems.
• Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and operational standards
• Monitor engine performance and ensure efficient operation of propulsion and auxiliary systems.
• Maintain accurate service logs and maintenance records.
• Coordinate with contractors, suppliers, and internal teams for repairs and parts procurement.
• Assist in vessel operations, including loading and unloading, with preference for candidates experienced on vessels under 35m
• Effective communication skills, both verbal and written
• Must either be exempt from the English language test or have passed an English test (IELTS or PTE Academic)
• Must have a driver's license
• Must have a valid passport
