Marine Engineer

• POSITION – MARINE ENGINEER/TECHNICIAN (LIFEBOAT & DAVIT SYSTEMS)

• We are looking for an experienced Marine Engineer to join our company and carry out inspection and servicing of Lifeboat, Rescue Boat, and Davit systems onboard vessels.

• Job Description
• • Perform inspection, testing, maintenance, and servicing of:
• • Lifeboat systems
• • Rescue boat systems
• • Davit and launching appliances
• • Ensure compliance with IMO, SOLAS, and Class regulations
• • Prepare service and inspection reports
• • Coordinate with ship crews, shipowners, and classification societies when required
• • Actively participate in onboard, shipyard, and field operations

• Requirements
• • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Marine Engineering, Naval Architecture, or related fields
• • Minimum 2–3 years of experience in lifeboat and davit inspection / servicing
• • Good knowledge of IMO / SOLAS regulations
• • Preferably holding Class / OEM certifications (DNV, Lloyd’s Register, ABS, etc.)
• • Good command of English (spoken & written)
• • Willing to travel
• • Hands-on, field-oriented, and solution-driven

• Preferred Qualifications
• • Experience with OEM or authorized service providers
• • Experience on offshore, tanker, or container vessels
• • Previous working experience in UAE or international projects

• • International travel as required
