Job Summary

Nova Care is seeking an experienced Marker Maker / Pattern Marker with a strong background in military textile manufacturing to join our production team. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating accurate markers, optimizing fabric utilization, and supporting efficient cutting operations for military uniforms and tactical garments.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and develop markers (cutting layouts) based on approved patterns and fabric widths.
• Arrange pattern pieces to achieve maximum fabric efficiency and minimize material wastage.
• Calculate fabric consumption and ensure accurate marker planning.
• Coordinate with Pattern Makers, Cutting Supervisors, and Production Teams to meet production schedules.
• Verify pattern measurements, grading, and marker accuracy before cutting.
• Ensure compliance with quality standards and production specifications.
• Maintain records of marker plans and fabric utilization.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity and reduce costs.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Marker Maker / Pattern Marker.
• Proven experience in military textile manufacturing, military uniforms, tactical wear, or related garment industries.
• Strong knowledge of pattern making, marker planning, grading, and fabric consumption calculations.
• Familiarity with garment production processes and cutting room operations.
• Ability to read and interpret technical specifications and garment measurements.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet production deadlines.
