We are currently looking for Market Analyst to join our team in the Istanbul Umraniye Office!

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze fundamental market parameters influencing electricity and natural gas prices across Europe, including supply, demand, weather etc.
• Prepare ad-hoc analyses and reports on market events, price movements, and regulatory changes to support strategic decision-making.
• Develop and maintain price forecasting models for key European electricity markets.
• Present model results and market insights to the team in a clear and concise manner.
• Collaborate with traders and other analysts to identify market opportunities and risks.

Desired Skills and Qualifications

• A bachelor's or master's degree in a quantitative field such as Economics, Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or a related discipline.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen interest in data analysis.
• Proficiency in at least one programming language (e.g., Python, R) for data manipulation and analysis.
• Knowledge of statistical methods and experience with forecasting models is a plus.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills in English, both written and verbal.
• High level of curiosity and a proactive, self-motivated attitude.
• A strong desire to understand the complex dynamics of the energy sector.
