Market Analyst & Trader – Exchange-Traded Derivatives
A trading team focused on exchange-traded derivatives is seeking a Market Analyst & Trader to support research, trade structuring, and execution across listed options and futures markets.
The role centers on volatility, term structure, skew dynamics, margin efficiency, and risk management within regulated exchanges. It is designed for analytically strong candidates seeking structured exposure to professional derivatives trading in a disciplined, performance-driven environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct in-depth research across listed options and futures markets, including equity index, commodity, and rate products
- Analyze volatility regimes, term structures, skew movements, and liquidity conditions
- Assist in structuring and executing options and futures strategies under defined risk parameters
- Monitor margin requirements, capital efficiency, and portfolio-level exposures
- Support strategy refinement through scenario analysis and stress testing
- Develop and maintain quantitative tools for volatility, performance, and risk tracking
- Maintain detailed records of trade performance and evolving market conditions
Required Qualifications
- Certified Futures and Options Analyst (CFOA) designation
- Degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Engineering, Physics, Computer Science, Data Science, or a related quantitative field preferred
- Strong understanding of exchange-traded derivatives, including options mechanics and futures contract structures
- Solid grasp of risk management principles, including volatility and margin considerations
- Strong analytical and numerical reasoning skills
- High attention to detail and disciplined work habits
Experience with volatility analysis, options pricing models, or systematic derivatives strategies is advantageous.
