Market Development Lead – Wireless Vision In-Home Sales Division
About the Role
This is a senior-level, temporary assignment within the WV In-Home Sales division, open to Retail Store Managers (RSMs) and above who are currently in good standing. The position requires full relocation for a minimum of six months and reports directly to the Door-to-Door Manager. The primary focus of this role is to recruit, train, and develop door-to-door sales teams in markets where the company does not yet have established personnel, while ensuring those teams are successfully set up from an onboarding and administrative standpoint. This role will also support maintaining staffing levels and sales performance in markets where established D2D personnel are already in place. The ideal candidate is a proven leader with a strong sense of ownership, exceptional people development skills, and the drive to build and sustain high-performing teams across.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the recruitment of door-to-door sales candidates in new and emerging markets where the company does not yet have an established D2D presence.
- Maintain and support staffing levels and sales performance in markets where established D2D personnel are already in place, providing ongoing oversight and intervention as needed.
- Deliver comprehensive training programs to onboard and develop new D2D sales associates, ensuring they are equipped with product knowledge, sales techniques, and company standards needed to succeed.
- Coach, mentor, and develop D2D sales team members through consistent field visits, and regular performance check-ins.
- Oversee the full onboarding process for new hires, ensuring all administrative requirements are completed accurately and timely, including systems access, documentation, and compliance paperwork.
- Perform functions of a D2D sales team member if needed, to support sales goal attainment.
- Set clear performance expectations and sales goals; monitor individual and team results against targets and address performance gaps proactively.
- Develop and execute market-entry strategies to maximize territory coverage and accelerate sales conversions.
- Analyze sales data and prepare regular performance reports for the Door-to-Door Manager.
- Ensure compliance with all company policies, HR procedures, and industry regulations across all assigned markets.
- Foster a positive, high-energy, and performance-driven team culture in each market.
Qualifications
- Currently serving in the role of Retail Store Manager (RSM) or above.
- Currently in good standing with the company.
- Must be willing and able to relocate for a minimum of six months.
- Proven track record of leadership, team development, and delivering results in a performance-driven environment.
- Strong recruiting capabilities with the ability to identify, attract, and hire talent in unfamiliar markets.
- Excellent communication, coaching, and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in CRM tools and Microsoft Office Suite.
