About the Role

Beyon Connect is seeking a commercially driven Market Development Lead to own and progress growth opportunities across its digital platforms.

Reporting to the Head of Market Development, the role is responsible for managing assigned accounts, qualifying and advancing pipeline opportunities, driving sector activation, and contributing directly to revenue growth across priority industries. The successful candidate will lead client engagement, shape commercial propositions, progress qualified opportunities through the sales cycle, and ensure effective transition from commercial discussions to execution and delivery.

This is a client-facing commercial role within a high-profile digital organization, suited to someone who combines structured thinking, strong relationship-building skills, commercial discipline, and the ability to move opportunities from identification through to revenue realization.


Core Responsibilities:


1.Account Ownership and Pipeline Development

  • Own and manage selected client accounts within assigned sectors.
  • Identify, qualify, and progress new commercial opportunities in line with business priorities.
  • Maintain a disciplined view of account activity, pipeline status, next steps, and revenue potential.
  • Lead structured client discussions and follow-through across defined opportunities.
  • Drive deal progression by coordinating internal inputs, resolving blockers, and maintaining momentum.
  • Ensure opportunities are properly qualified, commercially viable, and aligned to strategic priorities.
  • Contribute directly to revenue growth through account development, cross-sell, upsell, and new opportunity conversion.


2. Sector Activation and Commercial Execution

  • Execute sector growth plans across priority industries and client segments.
  • Translate sector opportunities into actionable account plans, commercial proposals, and delivery pathways.
  • Develop pricing models, commercial frameworks, and business cases to support deal progression.
  • Prepare commercial positioning, proposal, and negotiation materials.
  • Coordinate with internal teams to ensure smooth transition from commercial agreement to operational execution.
  • Track progress against agreed commercial actions, client commitments, and delivery milestones.


3.Market Insight and Opportunity Structuring

  • Conduct structured market, client, and competitive analysis to identify growth opportunities.
  • Translate regulatory, sector, and industry dynamics into practical commercial recommendations.
  • Assess client needs and align Beyon Connect solutions to relevant use cases and business outcomes.
  • Support the development of sector-level propositions that can be scaled across multiple accounts.
  • Provide clear updates on pipeline movement, account priorities, and revenue opportunities to senior stakeholders.


What We’re Looking For:

  • Demonstrated experience in business development, account management, commercial strategy, consulting, project management, or client-facing commercial roles.
  • Strong understanding of pipeline management, opportunity qualification, and deal progression.
  • Ability to take ownership of accounts and drive commercial follow-through independently.
  • Analytical and financial modelling capability.
  • Comfortable leading client discussions independently within defined commercial parameters.
  • Structured thinking and clear communication skills.
  • Strong execution discipline and ability to coordinate across internal and external stakeholders.
  • Experience in regulated industries preferred.
  • Fluency in Arabic and English.
