Market Maintenance Tech

Lexington Hotel Group is looking for a dependable individual with strong customer service skills to fill a full-time position as a Maintenance HVAC Mechanic. Join our dynamic team as a Market Maintenance Technician, where you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation and upkeep of our facilities and equipment across multiple locations. This energetic position offers the opportunity to work hands-on with a variety of maintenance tasks, troubleshoot complex systems, and lead initiatives that keep our operations running efficiently. Your expertise in electrical, mechanical, and facilities maintenance will directly impact our ability to deliver exceptional service and maintain a safe, reliable environment for all team members and customers.

Job requirements include but are not limited to:

- Always provide the highest quality of service to the Hotels.

- Must report activities to the Director of Engineering Daily.

- Maintain the quarterly Mechanical PM schedule at all Lexington Managed Hotels.

- Complete all work orders in a timely manner and track them appropriately.

- Maintain an inventory of Spare parts for common equipment.

- Complete special projects as assigned by the Director of Engineering.

- Communicate with the Director of Engineering, GMs, and the Maintenance Supervisor to determine their needs and provide them with information.

- Must be willing to be trained on pool maintenance, water chemistry, and cleaning of the pool/spa.

- Must be willing to be trained on HVAC equipment.

- Must understand the basics Mechanical Equipment such as Kitchen Refrigeration and Cooking Equipment, Boilers, Water Heaters, and Ice Machines.

- Must be willing to be trained on basic computer networking and hardware/software troubleshooting.

- Must understand the maintenance and repair of electrical and plumbing equipment.

- Must be able to competently complete tasks and follow directions, with minimal supervision.

- Must be able to work any shift (typical shifts will be weekdays).

- Must be available for On-Call situations.

- Read, log, track and interpret readings from meters, gauges, and other measuring units.

- Clean all engineering areas and work in a neat, efficient manner, keeping work areas clean and well organized.

- Provide a safe work environment by following all safety and security procedures and rules.

- Must be willing to be trained on the repair and maintenance of the lawn irrigation system.

- Must be able to stay awake for the duration of the shift.

- Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record for Corporate insurance policy

- Must be able to lift 50 Lbs.
