We are looking for a Market Narrative & Communications Manager to define, shape, and amplify how Smartcat is understood in the market.
This is not a traditional communications role.
You will operate as a narrative owner and executive storytelling partner, working closely with marketing leadership and executives to build a clear, differentiated point of view in the market and bring it to life across social, media, and thought leadership channels.

Market Narrative & Positioning
- Shape and evolve Smartcat’s core narrative
- Translate product capabilities into compelling, differentiated market stories
- Ensure consistency across website, campaigns, PR, and exec communicationsBuild point of views that challenge the market and create category separation
Executive Communications & Thought Leadership
- Partner with executives to develop authentic, high-impact voices
- Build a consistent executive presence that drives engagement and influence
- Turn company moments, customer wins, and industry trends into leadership content
Social & Distribution Engine
- Lead executive social strategy, primarily on LinkedIn
- Create a repeatable content cadence (3–5 posts per week across leaders)
- Activate internal voices to amplify Smartcat’s story
- Use AI tools to scale content creation, testing, and iteration
PR & Media Strategy (Modern Approach)
- Drive a focused, high-impact PR strategy (not volume-based)
- Develop story angles, bylines, and media pitches
- Manage external PR contractors or boutique agencies as needed
- Identify speaking opportunities, podcasts, and awards that build credibility
Narrative Amplification Across the Business
- Partner with Product Marketing, Demand Gen, and Customer Marketing
- Turn customer stories into market-facing narratives
- Support major launches, events, and announcements with strong storytelling
- Ensure alignment between what we say, what we ship, and what the market hears.
- Smartcat executives become recognized voices in AI and market adaptation
- Clear, differentiated narrative shows up consistently across all channels
- LinkedIn becomes a top-performing awareness and engagement channel
- Thought leadership drives inbound interest and pipeline conversations
- PR shifts from reactive announcements to proactive storytelling
- The market begins to adopt our language and framing
- 5+ years in communications, content, or narrative-driven marketing roles
- Experience in B2B SaaS, AI, or high-growth tech environments
- Proven ability to build executive presence and thought leadership
- Exceptional writing and storytelling skills (this is non-negotiable)
- Strong instincts for LinkedIn and modern content distribution
- Experience working with founders or senior executives
- Ability to simplify complex ideas into clear, compelling narratives
- Comfort operating in a fast-moving, high-ownership environment

- Built workflows that maximize reach of every PR/thought leadership opportunity
- Executives actively amplify company narratives across social channels
- Sales teams are using customer evidence and PR mentions in active deals
- You’ve elevated how Smartcat shows up across social and brand channels
- Customer evidence is embedded across core marketing assets and campaigns
- GTM teams are actively sharing and using content to support social selling on a weekly basis; and you’re incentivizing them to do so
- You’ve launched flagship thought leadership content that’s pitch-ready
- Executive content, PR, GEO, customer storytelling, and sales enablement are working as one coordinated system
- Smartcat’s market presence feels opinionated, customer-driven, and visible
- Drive website volume and conversion traffic through corporate positioning
