Job Summary:
Our firm is seeking a Market Research Analyst who will be responsible for researching industry trends, conducting market analysis, and identifying growth opportunities for our portfolio companies. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in market research methodologies, competitive intelligence, and possess excellent analytical and data visualization skills.
Key Responsibilities:

Conduct comprehensive market research to identify emerging industry and technology trends

Analyse market dynamics, competitive landscapes, and consumer behaviour patterns

Track and report on market size, growth rates, and potential opportunities in AI related sectors

Develop and maintain market intelligence databases to support investment decisions

Create detailed market segmentation analyses and identify target market opportunities

Design and execute both qualitative and quantitative research projects

Prepare insightful market research reports with actionable recommendations

Stay abreast of market developments and provide regular updates to the team

Develop compelling data visualizations and PowerPoint presentations to communicate research findings to senior executives
Qualifications:
-
1–3 years of experience in market research. Demonstrated Interest in technology, innovation, and emerging markets; experience in AI-related projects is a plus.

Working knowledge of latest AI related developments including but not limited to Generative AI, LLM models, companies/startups working on developing service offerings in the AI industry.

Experience using market research tools and databases (e.g., Gartner, Forrester, CB Insights).

Bachelor's degree in Market Research, Marketing, Economics, Business Administration, or related field; Candidates with an MBA are preferred.

Proficiency in data analysis (Excel, Python) and presentation skills (PPT).

Familiarity with Python and SQL is not required but would be a plus.
