Market research analyst

Key Responsibilities

• Must have good knowledge of Balance Sheet, P&L, Cash Flow and basic accounting principle
• Conduct fundamental and technical analysis of unlisted companies.
• Analyse financial statements, earnings reports, and industry data.
• Track stock market movements, macroeconomic indicators, and sector trends.
• Prepare valuation models (DCF, Comparable Company Analysis, Ratio Analysis).
• Generate equity research reports.
• Assist in building and maintaining financial databases and forecasting models.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or related field.
• Strong understanding of stock markets, capital markets, and investment principles.
• Experience with trading platforms, market data tools (e.g., Bloomberg, Reuters, NSE/BSE tools).
• Excellent analytical, quantitative, and communication skills.

Preferred Skills

• Experience in equity research or brokerage environment.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet market-driven deadlines.
• Strong attention to detail and data interpretation skills.
