Market Research Intern

Overview

We are looking for a creative and detail-oriented Market Research Intern to join TrekGo.in. This internship offers hands-on experience in online research, content organization, and digital asset management within the travel and trekking industry. The intern will play a key role in enhancing our website experience by researching high-quality trek images from the web and structuring them into visually appealing trek cards. This paid internship is ideal for individuals interested in travel, research, and digital content management.

Responsibilities

• Research and collect high-quality trek photos from web sources for Indian and international treks
• Identify authentic, visually appealing, and relevant images aligned with each trek’s landscape and season
• Organize and upload images into structured trek cards on the TrekGo.in website
• Ensure images are properly categorized (trek name, region, altitude, difficulty, season, highlights)
• Maintain consistency in image quality, resolution, and visual storytelling across trek cards
• Conduct secondary research to verify trek details and visual accuracy
• Collaborate with the content and product team to improve trek card layout and presentation
• Follow copyright, attribution, and ethical image usage guidelines
• Continuously update and improve the image database as new treks are added

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Marketing, Business, Media, Tourism, or a related field
• Strong internet research and information verification skills
• Good visual sense and attention to detail
• Familiarity with basic content management systems or websites is a plus
• Interest in trekking, travel, and outdoor exploration preferred
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
• Strong organizational skills for managing large volumes of images and data
• Basic understanding of image formats, resolution, and web optimization is an advantage
