Job Summary

We are seeking a compassionate, results-driven Hospice Marketing Representative to build and maintain referral relationships within the healthcare community. The ideal candidate will promote hospice services to physicians, hospitals, skilled nursing facilities, assisted living communities, and other healthcare professionals while educating patients and families about the benefits of hospice care.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain strong referral relationships with physicians, hospitals, case managers, discharge planners, nursing facilities, assisted living communities, and other healthcare providers.
  • Educate healthcare professionals, patients, and families on hospice services, eligibility criteria, and benefits.
  • Conduct regular sales calls, presentations, and in-service trainings to referral sources.
  • Identify new business opportunities and implement strategies to increase referrals and admissions.
  • Attend community events, healthcare networking meetings, and industry functions to promote hospice services.
  • Maintain accurate records of referral activities, contacts, and outcomes within the CRM system.
  • Collaborate with clinical and administrative teams to ensure excellent customer service and patient care.
  • Meet or exceed established referral and census growth goals.
  • Stay current on hospice regulations, industry trends, and competitive market conditions.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Healthcare Administration, or related field preferred.
  • Minimum of 2 years of healthcare marketing, hospice, home health, or medical sales experience preferred.
  • Established relationships within the local healthcare community are highly desirable.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and manage a territory effectively.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and CRM software.
  • Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and willingness to travel throughout assigned territory.
