About The Proxy Agency
The Proxy Agency is a full-funnel marketing agency that drives revenue for B2B technology companies—with deep expertise in legal tech. We work with innovative companies building the future of how law firms, workplaces, and professional services operate.
Our clients aren't looking for generic marketing; they need partners who understand complex sales cycles, sophisticated buyer personas (think CFOs, COOs, and CIOs), and how to turn marketing into pipeline.
We're a small, senior team that punches well above our weight. No endless approval chains. No marketing by committee. Just smart people doing meaningful work for clients who genuinely value what we bring to the table.
The Role
We're looking for an Account Executive to own the execution of 3-5 client accounts from strategy through daily delivery. This role spans the full spectrum—from developing annual marketing plans to writing the LinkedIn posts that bring them to life. You'll be both strategist and doer.
Your clients will have real metrics they care about: demos booked, MRR, pipeline generated, deals influenced. You'll develop marketing plans, execute campaigns across social media and email, manage conference presence, orchestrate thought leadership programs, and track attribution with precision. When the CEO asks "what did marketing do for us this quarter?"—you'll have the answer.
What You'll Actually Do
- Create and schedule social media content across LinkedIn and other platforms—writing posts, sourcing visuals, and maintaining consistent client voices
- Build and send email campaigns including newsletters, nurture sequences, event promotions, and product announcements
- Develop and present quarterly and annual marketing plans with clear targets, budgets, and attribution models
- Manage conference and event strategy—including booth presence, speaking submissions, pre/post-event campaigns, and follow-up execution
- Orchestrate thought leadership: ghostwritten articles for publications like Law.com and Law360, webinars, podcast appearances, press releases, and buyer's guides
- Execute digital marketing campaigns including LinkedIn advertising, Google Ads, and SEO/GEO initiatives
- Track and report on KPIs: website traffic, demo requests, lead source attribution, engagement rates, and pipeline influence
- Participate in client meetings, translate strategy into action items, and manage deliverables through completion
- Collaborate with our Director of Content and Director of Client Success to deliver integrated campaigns
Who You Are
- 3-5 years of B2B marketing experience, ideally in SaaS, professional services, or technology
- You've managed client relationships before—either agency-side or as an in-house marketing lead working with internal stakeholders
- Experience with HubSpot (or similar CRM/marketing automation), Google Analytics, LinkedIn Campaign Manager, and project management tools
- Strong writing skills and an eye for content that doesn't sound like it was written by a committee
- Comfortable with data: you can pull reports, spot trends, and translate metrics into strategic recommendations
- Highly organized—you'll be juggling multiple accounts with competing priorities and tight deadlines
- Self-starter mentality: we're a small team and there's no one looking over your shoulder
Bonus points if you have:
- Experience in legal technology, legal services, or professional services marketing
- Conference and event management experience
- Familiarity with ABM strategies and enterprise sales cycles
What We Offer
- Fully remote position with flexible hours (core, required collaboration hours 9am-5pm ET)
- Work with innovative companies building genuinely interesting products
- A senior team that values quality over quantity and strategy over busywork
- Paid holidays including the full week between Christmas Eve and New Year's Day
- President's Day, Memorial Day, Juneteenth, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving (Thursday & Friday)
If you're tired of marketing that doesn't connect to outcomes, and you want to work with clients who actually listen to strategic advice—we'd love to hear from you.
