Work shouldn't just be a task list and time log; it should be meaningful, memorable, and done with people you actually like. At least, that's what we believe. We're looking for someone who loves marketing, reads HubSpot blogs (or SEO LinkedIn) with their morning coffee, and is fun to be around.

If you're a people person who loves to solve problems and help others grow their businesses through online marketing, this role might be for you.

This role is responsible for building and keeping their marketing client relationships and managing a book of client accounts along with the marketing project manager. You'll learn everything there is to know about the client, about the work we’re doing for the client, and about the internal and external politics that might influence our relationship. You'll help the project stay on schedule, on budget, and hit client goals.

This role reports to the Director of Marketing and works alongside an awesome team of outsourced contractors.

Here are the 3 key result areas for this role...

Key Results Area #1: Help Clients Grow Their Online Traffic and Leads

  • Manage at least $14,000 in MMR (~7 accounts)
  • Client Check-Ins Through Slack or Email
  • Monthly reporting by Zoom
  • Create long-term client engagements by achieving results through marketing channels
  • Always be friendly and consultative with clients even if they are difficult
  • Knowing when you don’t have an answer to a question and admitting that to the client (and finding an answer offline)
  • Ensure each client has NSM goals and they are achieved.

Key Results Area #2: Manage Profitable Marketing Projects

  • Maintain Profitable Marketing Accounts
  • Maintain accurate Marketing Overview Spreadsheet Each Month
  • Assist the Sales team with project quoting
  • Help the Marketing Director and Senior Project Manager improve marketing processes & procedures.

Key Results Area #3: Keep Tasks and Projects Moving

  • Weekly standup meetings as a team
  • Daily checks on tasks in the project management system
  • Meet with the Project Manager weekly to review accounts
  • Hold the Contractors and Agencies we work with responsible for tasks and deadlines
  • Be able to jump into ad platforms to improve campaigns and make iterative tests

Requirements

  • 4+ Years of Marketing Account Management Experience
  • Reliable Internet connection
  • Team player mentality
  • SEMrush, GSC and/or Ahrefs experience a plus
  • Google Analytics Certification a plus
  • Google Ads certification a plus
  • LinkedIn Ads experience a plus
  • Hubspot Marketing Certifications are a plus
  • Storybrand Framework Experience a plus

Pay: $30.00 - $40.00 per hour
