Role Summary
We’re looking for an early-career marketing pro who wants to own day-to-day execution across social media, graphic design, and website content updates. You’ll work closely with our marketing leadership and sales team to keep our brand sharp, active, and consistent across channels. This role is ideal for someone with 1–3 years of experience who’s ready to build a portfolio in a real-world environment.
Key Responsibilities
Social Media & Content Execution (Primary)
- Create and publish social media posts for Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and Google Business Profile.
- Build weekly content calendars (storms, projects, team highlights, reviews, community events, promos).
- Collect and organize jobsite photos/video from crews and sales reps; turn raw assets into polished posts.
- Basic performance tracking: engagement, reach, clicks, follower growth; report quick insights monthly.
Graphic Design & Brand Support
- Design flyers, door hangers, yard signs, event collateral, and sales handouts.
- Produce simple short-form video edits for reels/stories (before/after, progress, testimonials).
- Maintain brand consistency (logos, colors, typography, messaging) across everything you touch.
Website Updates & Local SEO Support
- Update web page copy, service pages, and city pages on WordPress.
- Replace/refresh photos, add project galleries, and keep location/service information accurate.
- Support basic on-page SEO best practices (headings, internal links, image alt text).
Events & Sales Enablement (Occasional)
- Assist with marketing setup for local events (booths, banners, brochures, giveaways).
- Create distributable materials for sales reps when needed (one-pagers, leave-behinds, promos).
- Help coordinate marketing assets for seasonal campaigns or storm response pushes.
What Success Looks Like (First 90 Days)
- Consistent posting cadence is established and maintained.
- New jobsite photos and wins are turned into branded content quickly.
- Website updates happen weekly without being chased.
- Sales team has updated materials when they need them.
- You’re proactively bringing ideas, not just waiting for tasks.
Required Qualifications
- 1–3 years of hands-on marketing experience (internships count if substantial).
- Coursework or degree in Marketing, Communications, Graphic Design, or similar preferred.
- Confident with Adobe tools (Photoshop/Illustrator/InDesign) and/or Canva.
- Comfortable inside WordPress (editing pages/posts, swapping images, basic formatting).
- Strong writing skills with an eye for clarity and tone.
- Highly organized: able to manage multiple small projects without dropping details.
