Marketing Admissions Coordinator

Position Summary

We are seeking a motivated, outgoing, and community-minded Marketing & Community Outreach Assistant to join our team. This role is essential in helping us connect with potential clients by visiting local community hubs and assisting with lead generation and onboarding support.

Key Responsibilities

  • Visit local food pantries, community centers, senior centers, and other public outreach venues to promote agency services
  • Build relationships with community leaders, service providers, and referral sources
  • Distribute flyers, brochures, and agency materials
  • Collect leads and contact information from interested individuals
  • Follow up with potential clients via phone, email, or in-person visits
  • Assist new clients with completing onboarding paperwork, applications, and eligibility documentation
  • Track outreach activity and report weekly results to the leadership team
  • Represent the agency professionally in the community

Qualifications

  • Friendly, outgoing personality and strong communication skills
  • Comfortable talking to new people and presenting information clearly
  • Reliable transportation required (local travel is a key part of the role)
  • Familiarity with local neighborhoods and communities a plus
  • Basic computer and phone skills (email, spreadsheets, data entry)
  • Experience in marketing, outreach, healthcare, or human services preferred but not required
  • Bilingual (Spanish) is a plus

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour

Work Location: In person
