Marketing Agency – Content Creator (Social Media Reels & Photography)

Detroit Design House is looking for high-skilled, self-driven content creators who know photography, how to produce reels, short-form video, and scroll-stopping visuals. The Ideal candidate stays ahead of social media trends, and can execute creative shoots with minimal direction. This role includes both independent field shoots and collaborative production days with our internal creative capture team.

In addition to hospitality clients, our team also works closely with cannabis brands on packaging design, product marketing, and visual storytelling, so experience or comfort within the cannabis industry is highly valued.

Hiring opportunities:

contract, part-time, or full-time depending on skill and execution level.

What you’ll do

• Shoot for agency clients an average of 3–5 sessions per week.

• On-location shoots at local client businesses
• Studio product and brand content creation

• Create ongoing social media content such as reels, for restaurants, bars, dispensaries, canna brands & other local businesses

• Work solo on some shoots and alongside our creative capture team on others.

• Work efficiently in fast-paced, real client environments

Non-negotiable:

To be considered, you must send portfolio links showing either:

• Reels / short-form video

• Photo + video work

• Social pages you’ve created or managed

Location:

• Hybrid work, as most shoots are at our clients locations in metro Detroit.

• Office workspace in Ferndale.
• Studio shooting space with lights and other gear.
