BankSouth Mortgage is seeking a Marketing & Administrative Support Specialist. This role is located in Hahira, GA and is primarily focused on executing high-volume, template-based marketing requests using pre-approved tools, content, and processes – along with light administrative/front desk support.

BankSouth Mortgage is seeking a Marketing & Administrative Support Specialist. This role is located in Hahira, GA and is primarily focused on executing high-volume, template-based marketing requests using pre-approved tools, content, and processes – along with light administrative/front desk support.

We are ideally looking for a part-time team member, but are open to a full-time schedule for the right candidate. This is a great fit for someone who enjoys structured work, has an understanding of digital marketing, is comfortable with tools like Canva, is a quick learner of Martech tools, and can follow direction with strong attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities
Marketing Support (Primary Focus):
  • Customize and update pre-approved Canva templates (flyers, social graphics, emails, event materials)
  • Add Loan Officer-specific details (names, headshots, contact info, co-branded elements)
  • Create digital marketing content from templates for various formats (social, print, email)
  • Follow clear instructions
  • Support high-volume, quick-turn time marketing requests (no original design required)
  • Prepare and schedule social media posts using approved content
  • Assist with building and formatting email campaigns using provided materials
  • Use AI tools, when directed, for simple content drafts or variations
  • Communicate clearly on request status and maintain accuracy and brand consistency
Growth Opportunities (as trained):
  • Build and schedule email campaigns in HubSpot (or similar)
  • Draft basic marketing copy using AI tools and internal guidance
  • Assist in creating internal content (newsletters, presentations, etc.)
Administrative Support:
  • Greet visitors and manage incoming calls
  • Maintain a clean, organized office environment and professional appearance
  • Assist loan officers with basic administrative tasks (e.g., importing applications, pulling reports)
  • Handle sensitive information with confidentiality
Compliance
  • Responsible for learning, understanding and practicing required fraud prevention practice, BSA and OFAC compliance requirements
  • Ensure that BankSouth Mortgage adheres to all applicable federal and state regulations
  • Maintain confidentiality of all customer files & associated information
  • Assist examiners and auditors by providing required documentation
  • Correct exceptions to issues found by examiners and auditors

Required Qualifications
  • High school diploma or GED
  • 1+ year of administrative, receptionist, or customer-facing experience
  • Good communication and organizational skills
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow processes
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook); comfortable learning new systems
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
  • Professional demeanor with strong customer service orientation
  • Basic knowledge of digital marketing and a quick learner of Martech
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in the mortgage, banking, or financial services industry
  • Familiarity with loan origination systems
  • Experience with CRM or marketing platforms (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce)
  • Experience creating content using tools such as Canva
  • Basic knowledge of social media management and email marketing platforms
  • Prior experience supporting marketing campaigns or events
