Marketing and Communications Coordinator

Position Overview

Child Rescue Coalition (CRC) is seeking a mission-driven, detail-oriented Marketing & Communications Coordinator to support and execute strategic communications that advance our mission to protect children from online exploitation. This role plays a key part in strengthening relationships with donors, supporters and other outward facing partnerships through compelling storytelling, brand consistency, and proactive communications support. The ideal candidate is highly organized, proactive, collaborative, and passionate about child protection.

Key Responsibilities:

External Communications & Content Creation

  • Draft and produce newsletters tailored to: Donors, Data partners, Law enforcement partners
  • Develop impact-driven storytelling pieces, case highlights, and mission updates
  • Assist in drafting annual reports, campaign messaging, and impact summaries, blogs
  • Support awareness campaigns and mission-driven initiatives

Website Management:

  • Regularly update website content to ensure accuracy, clarity, and alignment with current initiatives
  • Post news updates (arrests/trainings), blogs, press mentions, and campaign content
  • Optimize messaging for engagement and clarity

Executive Communications & PR Support

  • Prepare briefing materials and talking points for the CEO for PR and outward facing communications
  • Research and compile potential interview questions for internal PR opportunities
  • Assist in preparing the CEO for media interviews and speaking engagements
  • Support internal PR efforts, including announcements and organizational updates
  • Coordinate with external PR agencies or media contacts as needed
  • Draft all press releases for CRC

Partner & Collaboration Campaigns

  • Work alongside corporate partners, sponsors, and mission-aligned organizations to develop joint campaigns, coordinate collaborative messaging, support co-branded awareness initiatives
  • Assist in planning and promoting awareness, webinars, and mission-driven activations
  • Be main point of contact for partners in relation to awareness opportunities, campaigns, or any outward facing communications or storytelling

Social Media Support

  • Assist with drafting captions and campaign messaging
  • Help schedule posts and support content planning
  • Monitor engagement and flag opportunities for storytelling

(Note: This is a supportive function, not the primary focus of the role.)

Additional Responsibilities

  • Maintain brand voice and messaging consistency across all platforms
  • Track communication metrics (KPIs) and provide insights and recommendations for improvement
  • Support development team with campaign materials and fundraising collateral
  • Assist with event messaging and promotional assets
  • Stay informed on trends in nonprofit marketing and digital engagement
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, or related field
  • 2–4 years of experience in marketing or communications (nonprofit experience preferred)
  • Exceptional writing and editing skills
  • Strong organizational and project management abilities
  • Experience with email marketing platforms abd social media schedulers (e.g., Mailchimp, Hootsuite etc.)
  • Familiarity with website CMS platforms (WIX)
  • Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
  • Passion for child protection and CRC’s mission

Pay: $50,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
