Marketing and Communications Specialist, Full time, Day Shift
Community Care is hiring a Marketing and Communications Specialist for our rewarding opportunity to join our Marketing Department who enjoys team enjoys team collaboration, being part of a mission driven organization and who shares our mission to help elderly individuals and adults with physical and intellectual disabilities continue to live as independently as possible in the community. This is a full-time hybrid opportunity at our Bishops Woods office.
Marketing and Communications Specialist Job Responsibilities:
Assists with the development and implementation of the marketing plan and budget. Executes and measures the effectiveness of marketing strategies.
Develops and implements an internal communications plan to ensure consistency, accuracy and timeliness in the delivery of information. Recommends strategies/plans agency-wide and site/program specific communication to ensure broad, deep and focused communication efforts. Develops and publishes in-house newsletter and helps maintain marketing information on intranet.
Develops collaborative relationships with media representatives, maintains contact lists, writes press releases and helps coordinate responses to media inquiries.
Assists in developing, implementing, and overseeing social media strategy to increase brand awareness and engagement.
Assures organizational adherence (e.g., collateral materials, signage, website) to established branding guidelines.
Assists with the planning and implementation of special events.
- Special Assignments and Projects
Coordinates, delegates, or performs special assignments and projects requested by leadership staff.
Marketing and Communications Specialist Job Requirements:Education: Required - Bachelor degree in Marketing, Communication, Journalism or Liberal Arts
Experience: Required - a minimum of 5 years of experience in marketing, communications and/or public relations role
Preferred - experience working in a health care, long-term care, or community-based organization
Marketing and Communications Specialist Work Schedule:- Monday to Friday
- 8:00AM – 4:30PM
