The YMCA of Metropolitan Dallas, established in 1885, consists of 16 branches and a destination camp and employs over 2,500 staff - all dedicated to building healthy, confident, connected, and secure children, adults, families and communities. We are one of the largest YMCAs in North America and serve over 200,000 people annually through programs and events. We are currently seeking a Marketing Director for our White Rock YMCA.
The White Rock YMCA is looking for an individual who is innovative, a fast learner, and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously. This person will support the Marketing and Communications of White Rock YMCA in a cross-functional capacity supervising staff in community programs. They will collaborate and work with Department leads.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Under the direction of the Associate Executive Director, the Marketing and Community Outreach Director will execute Marketing strategies to support member and community engagement. The Marketing and Community Outreach Director will help execute marketing campaigns, content creation, website design, support branch projects, initiatives, and train various staff members when needed. They will stay abreast of trends that will benefit the White Rock YMCA and make recommendations of new strategies for better engagement of Y members, donors, volunteers, staff, and participants. This role will also supervise part time staff in community programs such as Youth Dance, Chess, and Community CPR. The desired result will be an increase in awareness, engagement, and participation of White Rock YMCA audiences across channels.
Under the direction of the Associate Executive Director, the Marketing and Community Outreach Director will:

Manage the White Rock YMCA website, providing edits and updates as needed.

Create and manage email marketing campaigns and analysis

Actively update and maintain the White Rock YMCA Program Guide

Create and maintain social media
-
Provide web & print design creative support to branch initiatives (templates, flyers, postcards, brochures, etc.)

Adhere to YMCA Brand Standards

Consult with Association and branch staff on a variety of marketing projects and initiatives

Identify and maintain relationships with community stakeholders

Fundraise to further the Misson of the YMCA

Train and supervise part time staff (5-8 part time staff)

Perform other duties based on the needs of the organization

EDUCATION

Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent and/or four years of marketing or related field experience

PAY RANGE: $47,000 - $50,000 if annualized
