We’re hiring a Marketing & Events Manager!

In this role, you’ll work directly with our CEO to shape the voice of our organization, lead our signature fundraising events, and build lasting relationships with the donors who make our mission possible. From digital strategy to high-energy event planning, your work will advance our mission to empower families to move beyond public assistance.

About the Role

Ripple of One is seeking a dynamic Marketing & Events Manager to lead our

outreach efforts and donor engagement. This role is the heartbeat of our brand—you

will be responsible for strategically planning and executing marketing campaigns and

events that inspire our current donors and attract new supporters.

From managing high-energy fundraisers to crafting digital stories of transformation, your

work will directly impact our mission to empower families to move beyond public

assistance.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Marketing & Branding

● Plan & Execute: Collaborate with the CEO to develop and implement

comprehensive marketing plans for Ripple of One and Ripple Resale stores.

● Brand Stewardship: Oversee branding, imagery, and message consistency

across all platforms (Billboards, Newspaper, Radio, and Email).

● Content Creation: Lead the production of outreach materials, including

end-of-year reports and donor newsletters.

● Website Management: Partner with our web developer to maintain a

high-standard digital presence.

Donor Engagement & Appreciation

● Donor Communication: Develop and manage regular donor outreach and

annual appeals.

● Community Outreach: Coordinate quarterly touchpoints with church partners

and major stakeholders.

Social Media & Storytelling

● Impact Stories: Work with interns and Social Media Manager to tell compelling

stories of success. Create personalized video and email updates for family

sponsors and monthly donors.

Event Management

● Annual Fundraiser: Serve as the Chair for annual fundraiser, overseeing the

volunteer team from concept to execution.

● Appreciation Events: Plan and execute annual donor and volunteer

appreciation events.

● Collaborations: Partner with the Tiger Paw Classic team for the annual golf

tournament and support the Recruitment Specialist with monthly volunteer

gatherings.

Qualifications

● Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.

● Experience: Proven experience (3-5 years) in marketing, public relations, and

event coordination.

● Project Management: Exceptional ability to prioritize and manage multiple

projects simultaneously with an eye for detail.

● Communication: Strong written and oral communication skills; comfortable with

public speaking.

● Soft Skills: Diplomacy, tact, and a heart for empowering families to move

beyond public assistance.

● Design: Proficient with Canva for creating email templates and marketing

materials

Pay: $45,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
