About Oak Highlands Brewery

Oak Highlands Brewery is a production brewery and taproom dedicated to crafting award-winning, high-quality beer for the DFW community for the past ten years. We are a team of passionate, hardworking beer enthusiasts committed to quality, community engagement, and fun. We are looking for a creative, results-driven, and highly organized Marketing & Events Manager to be the public-facing voice of our brand and drive engagement both online and at the taproom.

Position Summary

The Marketing & Events Manager is the primary leader for all brand marketing, event planning, and communications for Oak Highlands Brewery. This role is responsible for telling the OHB story, cultivating a vibrant customer experience, and maximizing taproom revenue through dynamic event execution and compelling digital content.

Key Duties & Responsibilities

Marketing & Communications

  • Social Media Management: Develop and implement the overarching marketing and social media strategy for all platforms (Instagram, Facebook, etc.).
  • Content Creation: Generate original, high-quality, and on-brand content, including photography and short-form video.
  • Brand Storytelling: Act as the brand's voice and steward, ensuring consistent messaging and visual identity across all channels and materials.
  • Website/Digital: Manage the company website (WordPress) and email marketing campaigns.

Event Planning & Execution

  • Taproom Events: Conceptualize, plan, and execute a diverse calendar of in-house events (e.g., live music, trivia, holiday parties) to drive taproom traffic and revenue.
  • External Events: Manage OHB’s participation in external festivals, markets, and off-site promotions.
  • Event Logistics: Coordinate all necessary logistics, manage vendor relationships, negotiate contracts, and create detailed run-of-show documents.
  • Team Collaboration: Communicate event details and logistical needs clearly to the taproom and production teams.
  • Private Bookings: Manage and oversee the booking process for private events and parties.

Required Qualifications & Skills

  • 2+ years of experience in a progressive marketing, events, or communications role, preferably within the brewery, food & beverage, or hospitality industries.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in managing and growing business social media accounts (Instagram, Facebook).
  • Proven ability to plan, manage, and execute events from concept to completion, with strong attention to detail.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in content creation tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe Suite, or similar) and website CMS (e.g., WordPress).
  • Must be highly organized, self-motivated, and a natural problem-solver.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and occasional holidays for event coverage.
  • Passion for craft beer and the DFW beer community is non-negotiable!

Job Type: Full-time

Base Pay: $44,969.04 - $54,156.27 per year
