Marketing and Sales Associate

Tacland is seeking a Marketing and Sales Associate in Orange County. As part of the marketing and sales team, the Marketing and Sales Associate will be responsible promoting our robotic target system as well as our other tactical training products and accessories.

The ideal candidate has an interest in firearms, be proactive in seeking out new customers, and be familiar with promotions and advertisement on social media. The candidate will also be responsible arranging and hosting product demos for interested customers.

In addition to promotion, the candidate will also be responsible for creating content for social media with the marketing team, therefore we value candidates with experience in media creation.

Who we are:

Based in SoCal, Tacland is developing better tactical training products for law enforcement, ranges, enthusiasts, and military. We’ve developed a robotic target system over 5 years and are ready to push it into the market.

Primary responsibilities:

• Promote our products on social media (Instagram, YouTube, etc.)
• Out reach to potential customers/venues and arrange demos
• Host product demos
• Attend trade shows
• Communicate with customers that have already purchased to ensure successful delivery of products

Qualities we are looking for:

• Familiar with creating content for social media for promotion
• Proactive in seeking out new customers and opportunities
• Experience and interest in firearms
• Flexible with marketing strategies, capable of using internet (social media, SEO, Google ads) as well as traditional methods (trade shows, cold calling etc.)
• Strong self-learner

Qualifications:

• Strong communication and time management skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Graphic design, photography, and videography skills are a bonus but not required.

Work environment:

Full time remote work with one in-person meeting every week. Depending on needs of job, relocation to a physical office might be necessary in the future.

Pay: $56,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
