Marketing and Sales head

Position Summary

The Head – Marketing & Sales will drive revenue growth, strengthen brand presence, and expand distribution across India. The role focuses on domestic market leadership, channel expansion, and building strong relationships with jewelers, retailers, and manufacturers.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Strategic Leadership

  • Develop and execute a national-level sales & marketing strategy for diamonds and gemstones
  • Set annual revenue targets and sales KPIs
  • Identify growth opportunities across key Indian markets
  • Define pricing and margin strategies for B2B and retail segments

2. Sales & Distribution

  • Build and manage relationships with:
  • Jewelry manufacturers
  • Retail chains and boutiques
  • Regional wholesalers and distributors
  • Expand sales channels and dealer networks nationwide
  • Drive sales through trade shows, exhibitions, and regional marketing events.
  • Negotiate large contracts and high-value supply agreements

3. Marketing & Brand Development

  • Develop campaigns targeting domestic jewelers and retail customers
  • Position products in natural vs lab-grown diamond categories and colored gemstones
  • Lead marketing collateral development (catalogues, pricing sheets, social media campaigns)
  • Execute region-specific promotions and offers

4. Team Management

  • Lead, mentor, and expand a national sales team
  • Define KPIs, incentives, and performance evaluation systems
  • Coordinate with marketing, production, and procurement teams

5. Market Intelligence & Compliance

  • Monitor domestic pricing trends and competitor activity
  • Ensure compliance with Indian regulations and certification standards
  • Track demand patterns across regions and product categories

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field (MBA preferred)
  • 10–15+ years in the Gems & Diamond industry, with proven domestic sales leadership
  • Strong network with Indian wholesalers, retailers, and jewelry manufacturers
  • Experience with diamond & gemstone grading and certification
  • Excellent negotiation and leadership skills

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
