Marketing and Sales Lead

Southeastern Marine, Yacht Power, and Boca Ciega Marine Center are uniquely west Florida’s leading Manufacturer-Authorized Dealer and marine service providers. We specialize in mobile marine service, sales, parts and repowers of engines, propulsion systems, generators, stabilizers, haul-outs and yacht services, with locations across the west coast.

Boca Ciega Marine Center is undergoing a full renovation to become Tampa Bay’s premier full-service boatyard.

Position Summary

We’re hiring a creative, driven marketing and sales pro to drive brand awareness about all of the great things our people do and the leading manufacturers we represent. This role will have ownership of our branding, marketing, design, promotion, web and social media efforts across our marine ventures—while results will ultimately be focused on lead generation and sales. This role blends brand-building and marketing with executive coordination and selling, ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.

The net-result of this position is expected to generate continued growth in services revenue as well as leads and sales for engines and generator / repowers, parts sales, Seakeeper/Ride, and our portfolio product and services offerings.

This position will make an impact on building a more formal sales organization in a long-established leader in mobile marine services, while keeping the pipeline full of opportunities through "behind the desk/computer" marketing, over the phone engagement to in-person promotion and selling activity.

Responsibilities:

Marketing & Branding

  • Develop and execute marketing campaigns across digital, print, AI and event channels
  • Manage branding assets: brochures, promotional materials, website, SEO, and customer reviews
  • Become the top ranked in search results for our segments of the business
  • Ensure brand consistency and compliance with OEM and distributor standards
  • Coordinate with designers, developers, and vendors to deliver high-quality materials

Promotion & Events

  • Lead promotional efforts for products and services, including trade shows and customer events
  • Organize and execute events that drive engagement and sales
  • Support sales outreach and distribution of promotional materials

Social Media & Digital Presence

  • Own the company’s social media strategy and content calendar
  • Create engaging content that reflects our brand and drives community growth
  • Monitor analytics and trends to optimize performance

Sales

  • Comfortable with walk-in customer sales, phone sales and making in-person calls to existing and new targeted customers
  • This will require local travel in greater Tampa Bay / Sarasota as well as travel to greater Pensacola areas.
  • Promotion and sales of engines/Repowers, Seakeepers/Ride, Services, etc. (Training and technical support will be provided.)

Executive Support

  • Assist the President with communications and projects
  • Assist with presentations, reports, and executive summaries
  • Support follow-ups with vendors, partners, and internal teams
  • Any other projects or tasks deemed priority or support the business

Requirements

  • Must have documented experience with Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, etc.)
  • Proficiency in WordPress and website development
  • Demonstrated expertise in Search Engine Optimization (SEO) and Pay-Per-Click (PPC) advertising strategies
  • Portfolio of completed marketing campaigns, branding assets, and digital content showcasing creative and strategic impact
  • Strong copywriting and content development skills across digital platforms (web, email, social media, print)
  • Experience with social media strategy, analytics, and paid promotions across platforms like Meta, LinkedIn, and YouTube
  • Familiarity with CRM systems and email marketing tools, HubSpot
  • Sales experience preferred, but not necessary
