Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and creative Marketing and Social Media Assistant to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting various marketing initiatives, contributing to the development and execution of marketing strategies that enhance brand awareness and drive engagement for both our Restaurant and Traveling Dueling Pianos Show. This position offers an exciting opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced environment while working on diverse projects across multiple channels.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in the development and implementation of multichannel marketing campaigns, including digital, print, and social media.
  • Conduct research to identify market trends, customer preferences, and competitive landscape to inform marketing strategies.
  • Support content creation for various platforms, including website copy, blog posts, social media updates, and email newsletters.
  • Manage social media accounts by scheduling posts, engaging with followers, and analyzing performance metrics.
  • Utilize SEO best practices to optimize website content for search engines and improve organic traffic.
  • Collaborate with the team on advertising sales initiatives and assist in creating compelling ad copy for print and digital formats.
  • Monitor and report on campaign performance using tools such as Google Analytics and provide insights for optimization.
  • Assist with email marketing campaigns, including list management, design, and performance tracking.
  • Help manage e-commerce platforms by updating product listings and ensuring accurate information is presented.
  • Support budget tracking for marketing initiatives to ensure alignment with financial goals.

Qualifications

  • Proficiency in digital marketing concepts including SEO, content marketing, email marketing, and performance marketing.
  • Familiarity with social media marketing strategies across platforms such as Facebook Advertising.
  • Experience with Adobe Creative Suite for graphic design tasks is preferred.
  • Knowledge of WordPress for website management; basic HTML skills are a plus.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data from Google Analytics and other reporting tools.
  • Excellent research abilities to gather insights that inform marketing decisions.
  • Strong copywriting skills with attention to detail in crafting engaging content.
  • Experience or coursework in B2B marketing is advantageous.
  • Familiarity with marketing automation tools is a plus.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $15.00 - $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 10 – 20 per week
