Marketing Associate (Design & Communications focus)
We are seeking a visionary and articulate Marketing Associate to bridge the gap between aesthetic excellence and strategic storytelling. In this hybrid role, you will be the primary architect of our partner communication channel, transforming technical product roadmaps and promotional opportunities into visually stunning, high-converting digital experiences.
The ideal candidate possesses a dual-threat skill set: the analytical mind of a strategist and the refined eye of a designer. We aren't looking for someone who just "sends emails"; we want a creator who understands the delicate balance between a sophisticated layout and a compelling call-to-action. Whether you are perfecting a "punchy" subject line or manipulating complex assets in Adobe Creative Suite, your goal is to drive engagement through professional artistry.
Key Responsibilities
- End-to-End Email Orchestration: Conceptualize, draft, design, and deploy high-impact external communications, including monthly newsletters, strategic flash sales, and major product launches.
- Visual Identity & Design: Produce bespoke graphics and layouts that honor our established brand identity while consistently pushing the boundaries of modern design.
- Strategic Copywriting: Distill complex information into concise, engaging copy tailored specifically to resonate with our professional partner network.
- Growth & Optimization: Utilize A/B testing frameworks to analyze subject lines, visual hierarchies, and CTA performance to maximize open and click-through rates.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with Product and Sales teams to translate technical roadmaps into digestible, value-driven updates for our partners.
- Brand Stewardship: Serve as the final gatekeeper for quality, ensuring every piece of collateral maintains a rigorous standard of professionalism and brand consistency.
Qualifications & Professional Skills
- Design Mastery: Expert-level proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud (specifically Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign).
- Communication Excellence: Exceptional writing ability with a talent for crafting clear, authoritative, and persuasive messaging.
- Technical Literacy: Hands-on experience with Email Service Providers (e.g., HubSpot, Mailchimp, or Klaviyo).
- Bonus Expertise: A foundational understanding of HTML/CSS for email—specifically the ability to troubleshoot layout padding or link structures—is highly desirable.
- Operational Agility: Proven ability to manage complex deadlines and navigate stakeholder approvals with poise and precision.
Education & Application Requirements
- Preferred Education: An Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Marketing, or a related field.
- Portfolio: A current portfolio demonstrating your design aesthetic and copywriting versatility is required for consideration.
