JOB OVERVIEW

Customer care, professionalism, and presentation are at the core of everything we do. We are currently seeking a motivated and creative Marketing Assistant / Content & Field Videographer to work directly with our Marketing Director and assist with the company’s day-to-day marketing efforts.

A large portion of this role will involve traveling to active and completed job sites to capture high-quality photos and video footage of some of the most prestigious homes and roofing systems in the Chicagoland area. All camera and drone equipment will be provided by the company. Video editing will primarily be handled by our Marketing Director; however, basic content creation experience is a plus.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Capture high-quality photos and videos of completed roofing projects on prestigious homes
• Operate company-provided DJI Mavic 3 Pro drone to record aerial footage of homes, showcasing our completed projects
• Assist with producing valuable visual content for the company’s website, social media platforms, advertising campaigns, and promotional materials
• Assist with organizing and maintaining the company’s marketing content, publications, mailing lists, spreadsheets, and project documentation
• Upload and organize job-site photos, drone footage, and marketing assets for internal use and online publication
• Assist with implementing creative marketing ideas, social media strategies, blog content, and branding initiatives to strengthen the company’s online presence
• Help organize and print brochures, marketing packets, flyers, postcards, folder inserts, and other promotional materials
• Track projects and maintain organized documentation through the company CRM
• Maintain strong communication with the marketing director, office staff, project managers, and production teams regarding ongoing projects and tentative photo shoots
• Work independently while maintaining strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Assist with other miscellaneous office and clerical duties to help support the company

JOB QUALIFICATIONS

• 2 + years of experience or newer graduate of photography, videography, marketing or content creation preferred
• Ability to operate or learn to operate a drone safely and professionally for aerial photography and video footage
• Experience with social media content creation and marketing concepts
• Familiarity with Adobe Premiere, InDesign, Photo Shop, Illustrator and video editing is a plus, but not required
• Intermediate computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office and Excel
• Strong attention to detail, organization, and time management skills
• Creative mindset with analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Positive attitude, strong work ethic and performance driven
• Ability to communicate effectively with company customers and office staff
