Job Description

Position Summary
The Marketing Automation Coordinator supports the CRM marketing automation team in development, setup, segmentation, execution and reporting of marketing campaigns. This role manages databases, workflows, campaigns and operational processes in key marketing automation platforms like HubSpot, Marketo, Dynamics, Salesforce and others. Although prior experience with the platforms is not required, successful candidates will be emerging marketing professionals who are analytical, technically-savvy, self-motivated, comfortable with working in a variety of platforms and passionate about data-driven decision making.

Primary Focus
The Marketing Automation Coordinator will play an active role in supporting all aspects of email campaigns from layout to performance reporting, as well as supporting other marketing automation strategies and programs. Success requires a detail-oriented, strategically minded problem solver who stays current on email marketing and automation best practices and trends.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Build email campaigns including list and/or segmentation development, layout + content population, testing + review, deployment and performance reporting across various platforms like HubSpot, Marketo, Salesforce and more.

  • Support marketing automation programs across clients including strategy development, building and performance reporting.
  • Manage databases and data hygiene across multiple clients and platforms including imports, data maintenance, automations/workflows and ensuring data structures support client business needs.
  • Collaborate with other agency teams, including account service and others, to ensure success of strategic initiatives across all agency functions.
  • Assist with marketing automation strategy and planning efforts for agency clients and potential new business initiatives with data-driven recommendations and tactics.
  • Produce campaigns with email and marketing automation best practices in mind.
  • Ability to travel if needed
  • Report on and analyze data using dashboards, data files, presentations, etc., to develop actionable insights, takeaways and recommendations for clients and internal teams.
  • Serve as an agency resource for email and marketing automation questions.


Requirements:

  • 0-3 years experience in marketing automation, email marketing, digital marketing, or a related discipline.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field
  • Familiarity with marketing automation platforms is preferred (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce, Marketo, Marketing Cloud, Salesforce Engagement, etc.)
  • Accurately track and record time entries daily in company project management software
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
