We are looking for a Marketing Automation and Systems Specialist to join our growing team and support the technical backbone of our marketing and analytics operations. In this role, you will work across the full Google Marketing Platform, maintain key tracking systems, assist with AI tools and automations, and provide hands-on technical support to both clients and team members. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys problem-solving, learning new technologies, and ensuring that complex systems run smoothly every day. Responsibilities

Google Marketing Platform (GMP) Management

Configure and manage the full Google Marketing Platform stack (Google Ads, GA4, GTM, Looker Studio) to ensure accurate tracking, reporting, and performance insights.

  • Google Ads – Monitor performance, conduct initial analysis, monitor performance, troubleshoot issues as they arise, and manage support tickets.
  • Google Analytics 4 (GA4) – Set up accounts, configure key events, and monitor/validate data accuracy. Troubleshoot any issues or necessary updates.
  • Google Search Console – Create properties, verify domains, manage the indexing process, and monitor performance.
  • Google Tag Manager (GTM) – Run standard setup tools, complete basic container updates, monitor data tracking, and troubleshooting or escalating the issues.
  • Looker Studio – Build and maintain dashboards and data connections for client reporting, monitor and solve/escalate data degradation.

AI Systems Support

Support the ongoing use, maintenance, and improvement of internal AI tools and automations.

  • Maintain and monitor internal AI systems to ensure reliable performance.
  • Assist with simple automations, workflow updates, and optimization tasks.
  • Help troubleshoot AI-related errors or system issues as they arise.
  • Test and provide feedback on new AI features, tools, or process improvements.

Technical Operations and Support

Maintain key technical systems, support both clients and internal team members, and ensure accurate data, stable platform connections, and clear communication.

  • SEMrush – Set up keyword tracking and pull foundational SEO insights. Monitor and validate data accuracy
  • Google Workspace Administration – Support admin tasks, user setup, 2FA, and troubleshooting.
  • DNS Management - Connect client domains and websites, update DNS settings as needed.
  • Client Communication – Lead screen-share walkthroughs, respond to tickets, and clarify technical concepts.
  • Team technical support - Provide day-to-day tech support to team members, Assist with systems creation, implementation, and updates.

Qualifications

  • Experience with core Google Marketing Platform tools (Google Ads, GA4, Search Console, Tag Manager, and Looker Studio), or a strong willingness to learn them quickly.
  • Familiarity with Google Workspace administration or similar platform management tools.
  • Basic understanding of DNS, domain verification, and system integrations, with the ability to troubleshoot common issues.
  • Exposure to AI tools, automations, or scripting is preferred, with an interest in expanding these skills over time.
  • Ability to explain technical concepts clearly to clients and team members who may not be technical.
  • High school diploma or GED required; college degree preferred but not mandatory.
  • Ability to work an 8am–5pm Pacific Time schedule.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $25.00 - $29.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
