MARKETING & BRAND SPECIALIST

Franklin Loan Center seeks an experienced Marketing & Brand Specialist who may work remotely or from our corporate headquarters in Palm Desert, CA. Candidates who work remotely must be able to easily commute daily to and from Palm Desert, CA for events and the stock management of our Company Swag Store. We strongly desire candidates who have worked for a retail residential mortgage banker or broker in a marketing role. Candidates who have worked for a retail financial services company in a marketing role will be considered.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Lead the coordination of networking and company events at the corporate level, including planning, ordering, setting up, and attending successful events

Attend networking, company, and branch events to capture photos and videos

Organize and prepare merchandise/giveaway items for all events, as requested

Post events online such as Eventbrite and Facebook Events to help promote planned networking events

Event support: attend current sponsorship events

Communicating with vendors for events

Create and manage spotlight video, content series, and recruiting videos for CEO, Branch Managers and Mortgage Loan Officers

Manage and grow FLC’s social media platforms including Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and Google Business Page

Develop and maintain a monthly content calendar aligned with company campaigns and initiatives

Run internal & external social media contests

Create relevant content material for FLC in general and for each branch. Example: top 10 things to do in Temecula this summer

Lead a monthly open hour call all employees to go over social media training / personal profile set up

Marketing training for new employees – Mortgage Loan Officers

Social media support for all employees

Collaborate with Mortgage Loan Officer’s and Branch Managers to include them in social media videos

Track social media engagement metrics to optimize our online awareness, and work with FLC employees to increase social media engagement through following and sharing FLC and FLC employees’ content

Assist with other social media marketing software such as Experience.com and WowMi AI Video Software

Award person with the most different FLC posts with most interaction

Assist with operations of the company merchandise store (inventory, restocks, novel item needs, packaging)

REQUIRED SKILLS & ABILITES

Social media platform knowledge: Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, Google Business Page, and Linktree

AI content creation and video editing tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, Opus Clip Pro

Strong Organizational Skills; Collaborative Mindset; Basic Mortgage & Real Estate Knowledge, Service-oriented Mentality; Vendor Management

Excellent time management, communication, and training skills with a high degree of detail orientation and accuracy. Must be willing and enjoy learning new technologies and services.

Proficiency with MS 365 Office applications, specifically with Teams, Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint applications are required.

Must be a service-oriented, initiative-taker, and able to comfortably communicate with all levels of external and internal clients and employees.

DESIRED EXPERIENCE & SKILLS

Familiarity with lifecycle marketing, CRM workflows, database management, and other CRM tasks. Project facilitator/leader for execution, management, training and follow up communication with CRM and Marketing third-party vendors, internal management, and Mortgage Loan Officers needs.

CRM Tech Stack experience with: Surefire Top of Mind; Market Level Mortgage Data: iEmergent - Mortgage Business Intelligence; Economic and Financial Tools: MBS Highway, Mortgage Coach, OSI Express, List Reports, HomeBot; Design: Adobe Suite and Canva.
