Jimerson Birr is a full-service business law firm based in Jacksonville, FL, helping companies navigate every legal challenge they face — from corporate transactions and employment law to litigation, real estate, and beyond. Our marketing team operates like an in-house agency, running sophisticated multi-channel campaigns, managing a robust digital presence, and building a brand that sets us apart in the legal industry.
About the Role
We're looking for a creative and motivated Marketing & Branding Intern to join our team this summer. This is a hands-on role — not a coffee-fetching one. You'll work directly alongside our marketing leadership to support real campaigns, produce content that reflects our brand, and help us show up powerfully across social media and digital channels.
Ready to apply? Submit your resume, a brief cover letter, and portfolio samples or links.
You'll be responsible for designing graphics and visual assets for social media, email campaigns, digital advertising, and internal use. You'll create content that communicates Jimerson Birr's expertise in a clear, professional, and engaging way — keeping in mind the unique compliance standards that come with marketing a law firm. You'll manage and schedule social media posts across platforms like LinkedIn, Instagram, and Facebook, monitor engagement, and help identify opportunities to grow our audience. You'll also collaborate with the team on branding initiatives and support ongoing marketing projects as needed.
-
Strong eye for design and ability to create professional, brand-aligned visual content
- Strong written communication skills with the ability to produce clear, compelling content
- Comfortable using social media platforms in a professional capacity (LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook)
- Ability to manage time effectively and prioritize projects in a fast-paced environment
- Team-oriented mindset with strong collaboration skills
- Curiosity about marketing within the legal or professional services industry
- Experience with social media scheduling tools such as Later, Buffer, or Hootsuite preferred
- Familiarity with email marketing platforms and/or CRM tools preferred
Qualifications
- Currently pursuing a degree in Marketing, Communications, Graphic Design, or a related field
- Must be able to work in-office in Jacksonville, FL
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and/or Canva
You'll get real-world experience on a high-performing marketing team, exposure to B2B marketing in a professional services environment, and mentorship from seasoned marketing professionals. You'll leave the summer with a portfolio you're proud of and a strong understanding of what it takes to build a brand in a competitive, compliance-driven industry.
