Role: Marketing Business Analyst
Location: New York (Hybrid – 3 days/week onsite)
Job Summary
We are seeking a strategic and detail-oriented Marketing Technology Business Analyst (8–10 years experience) to support digital transformation initiatives across marketing platforms. The ideal candidate has strong analytical and Martech skills, with hands-on exposure to campaign management, analytics, personalization, and customer data platforms.
Key ResponsibilitiesRequirements Gathering & Analysis
- Understand and define complex business problems and opportunities within marketing ecosystems.
- Collaborate with marketing, product, and technology teams to collect and document business requirements for Martech solutions.
- Analyze marketing workflows and translate them into functional and technical specifications.
- Define data flows, integration points, and dependencies across systems (CRM, CMS, CDP, Analytics, etc.).
Marketing Technology Expertise
- Work across a broad Martech stack including campaign management, personalization, analytics, and automation tools.
- Understand customer journeys, segmentation, targeting, and marketing operations.
- Support platform evaluations, capability assessments, and solution recommendations.
Solution Design & Delivery Support
- Partner with architects and developers to ensure business goals align with technical feasibility.
- Participate in sprint planning, design reviews, and UAT.
- Create wireframes, process flows, and detailed documentation for implementation.
Stakeholder Engagement & Communication
- Act as a bridge between Marketing, IT, and vendor teams.
- Facilitate workshops, demos, and feedback sessions.
- Provide progress updates, risk assessments, and dependency tracking.
Required Qualifications
- 8–10 years of experience as a Business Analyst (preferably in Marketing Technology or Digital Transformation).
- Strong understanding of Martech platforms, data models, and campaign operations.
- Experience managing requirements across cross-functional teams.
- Knowledge of digital marketing tools (SEO, SEM, email marketing, PPC, display advertising, etc.)
- Familiarity with content strategy, social media, and UX/UI in marketing funnels.
- Strong analytical, documentation, and communication skills.
- Understanding of web analytics and KPIs (bounce rate, CPA, CPC, average time on site, etc.).
- Working knowledge of Agile/Scrum frameworks and tools (Jira, Confluence).
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in Insurance or other regulated industries.
- Exposure to platforms like Adobe Experience Cloud, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Google Analytics, or Customer Data Platforms (CDPs).
- Understanding of data privacy laws (GDPR, CCPA) and compliance requirements.

Pay: $37.27 - $60.00 per hour
