We are seeking a Marketing “Care & Beauty” Category Manager who will be responsible for maximizing sales and profitability for this category by developing and executing strategies for merchandising, promotions, and marketing. Their core responsibilities will also encompass market and consumer research to identify trends, manage promotional activities, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and analyze performance data to inform future strategies.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement comprehensive category strategies to achieve sales and margin goals, working with merchandising, marketing, and product development teams.
Conduct thorough research on the beauty market, consumer behaviors, and competitor activities to identify trends, opportunities, and potential threats.
Oversee a specific portfolio of beauty products, ensuring offerings meet market demands and align with brand objectives.
Drive marketing initiatives, including advertising, promotions, and communication development, to support the category's performance.
Partner with various internal teams, such as design, product development, supply chain, and commercial, to align strategies and execute plans.
Analyze sales data, market insights, and performance indicators to assess what is working and what is not, then recommend adjustments to strategies.
Lead consumer studies, contribute to the conceptualization of new products or extensions, and oversee the go-to-market execution for new launches.
Manage online category efforts, including product categorization, cross-selling, upselling, and selecting featured products for enhanced customer experience and sales.
