We currently have an opening for a Marketing Communications & Content Coordinator. This position typically works Monday – Friday 8:00am – 5:00pm.
Summary:
The Marketing Communications & Content Coordinator plays a critical role in strengthening New England Life Care’s brand presence and supporting strategic organizational growth. This role develops engaging content, supports internal and external communications, and ensures clarity, consistency, and compliance across all marketing channels. The coordinator partners closely with clinical, business development, HR, and operational teams to enhance provider awareness, employee engagement, recruitment visibility, and member value.

Primary Responsibilities:
-
Develop and produce compelling content including patient education materials, social media posts, newsletters, white papers, videos, brochures, and landing pages.

Support recruitment and retention initiatives through branded content in partnership with HR

Write copies for campaigns, presentations, and digital channels that is easy to understand and aligned with NELC’s voice and strategic goals

Assist with development of storytelling and case studies featuring patient outcomes and member success

Manage internal and external communications to ensure clear, accurate, and timely messaging

Draft talking points, press releases, announcements, and media responses.

Support public awareness opportunities.

Assist with communications strategies for emergency operations and crisis response.

Maintain employee engagement by developing messaging and content for PowerUp, NELC Connect, and organizational updates.

Support HR with rewards and recognition programs, culture initiatives, benefit communications, and brand-forward content for recruitment campaigns.

Ensure internal audiences are informed about organizational priorities, events, and milestones.

Support outreach to member hospitals, referring providers, healthcare partners, and community stakeholders.

Help develop outreach content highlighting NELC services, cooperative value, and member partnerships.

Develop content for newsletters, articles, and provider-focused educational materials.

Assist with website copy content, blog writing, and digital storytelling.

Maintain and strengthen NELC’s social media presence

Provide editorial support across departments and ensure alignment with brand standards.
Educational and Professional Requirements:
-
Bachelor’s degree is required, preferably in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, Public Relations, or a related field.

1–3 years of work or internship experience in marketing, communications, PR, digital media, or content creation preferred.

Strong writing and editing skills with the ability to communicate complex clinical and operational concepts clearly.

Familiarity with website content management systems, social media platforms, and digital engagement tools.

Ability to partner effectively across departments and work collaboratively in a mission-driven environment.

Experience in healthcare, nonprofit, or cooperative organizations a plus.
